Where to see an American Black Bear in Alabama

The American Black Bear is recorded in the counties of 6 Alabama state parks (research-grade iNaturalist observations). Ranked by how often it is observed in each area:

1. DeSoto State Park
2. Buck's Pocket State Park
3. Saint Stephens State Forest
4. Bladon Springs State Park
5. Cedar Creek State Park
6. Monte Sano State Park

These are county-level records — the species is documented in the area around each park, which is a strong steer rather than a guarantee for the park itself.
